How am I giving random kids cancer by smoking a cig in Central Park?
Meanwhile here’s just a handful of the impacts of obesity
High blood pressure (hypertension).
High LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, or high levels of triglycerides (dyslipidemia).
Type 2 diabetes.
Coronary heart disease.
Stroke.
Gallbladder disease.
Osteoarthritis (a breakdown of cartilage and bone within a joint).
Sleep apnea and breathing problems.
Many types of cancer.
Low quality of life.
Mental illness such as clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders4,5. Body pain and difficulty with physical functioning6.And I’m being told we should celebrate this whole smokers are treated like pariahs. You gotta laugh

RASIECorporate fast food does put people at high risk of cancers and other diseases like high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Young DThe whole “body acceptance” thing our current society has is disgusting. It’s a cover for people to be unhealthy.
No one should be proud of being unhealthy. It’s something everyone should strive to improve. I get that it’s tougher for some people because of genetics, but that doesn’t mean you should just accept it. Obviously making fun of people for their weight is not cool, but the whole mindset that people should just appreciate fat people for what they are and let them live their lives is just weird and detrimental.
Edit: this post is obviously not directly related to the article in OP, just a general observation about society.
And no one asked to be born and slave away for the rest of their lives
Some people cope with that through smoking, drinking, d****, others cope with food. Being healthy is great and I'd recommend that for anybody but people are free to choose how they want to live their lives
Also body acceptance means looking at someone and minding your own business and not bother them about you should have a different hairstyle or wear other clothing or lose weight

it's already not legal to do that depending on the state, but in other states this falls under actual universal worker protections against arbitrary firing or fair hiring practices rather than specifying obesity as a protected class
