Oh word. Yeah man, just keep listening closely and reading as much as you can, which it seems like you’re doing. I couldn’t imagine listening to woods or Mach with English as a second language—respect for that. They’re cadences are hard to master at times

I think his music just comes off like that- I’m not sure it’s a conscious decision to be purposefully mysterious. I could be wrong. Either way, I agree with you. It’s fun to listening to challenging music sometimes

I'm honestly stunned. Could not be more excited to see what they've cooked up. This list is insane.

Andrew Broder of the indie rock band Fog??? How the hell did he get involved and have 3 credits.

Bro for real. Between this and the Preservation album, the underground is thriving like crazy this year. Beautiful to see

No Elucid behind the boards after his heavy presence on Paraffin is intriguing. Very curious to see what this will sound like and how these features will be utilised.

His verse and the ease with which he rides this beat blows my mind every single time

I don’t conceal my horns no more
    Seems too confusing
My morals parallel to my goals
    They don’t intersect
    Warding off interference
Insignificant like insects in the crib
Sometimes I find myself letting the roaches live
    To my betterment or detriment
Well I guess that’s to be seen
You see these streets we reside in are mean
If you trying to eat you gotta gather then prepare the feast
It ain’t nothing but a regular occurrence to miss a meal in the East
This not complaining dummy, I’m just informing those who genuine
    S***, never preferred performers
    God eager to judge me
I tell her prepare a scale
As I sit back, sip ale
Spark something up that lingers in the air

  • May 12, 2020

Btw here's a track that kinda went under the radar.

Produced by Steel Tipped Dove. Was intended to be the closer on Terror Management but was held back for a Dove album and didn't get used I guess so he dropped it. KeiyaA feature too.

I was born in the year of this country's last recorded lynching
My question is who stopped recording?

Elucid sure knows how to start a verse
