Interesting take. Im more inclined towards the latter 4, Today I Wrote Nothing onwards myself. Not to be critical of those first four projects. I still find myself listening to them a lot. But I think he's just gotten better and better as a writer and pushing the envelope on what hiphop can sound like and how to toy with song structures.

More a prophecy at this point. The craziness we living through. Rome's burning before our eyes.

Its a very very tough read. Cormac McCarthy is a brilliant writer and the majority of his works will feel dense and cryptic in ways. As an entry point I would recommend No Country For Old Men and The Road before taking on Blood Meridian.

its that its not that it is dense or cryptic, its like it is dense and cryptic and difficult while using so many obscure words that i have to keep a dictionary nearby.

anyway you seem to be well read, what would you recommend for me in similar vein of billy, elucid and earl?

I mean i like challenging art and love thinking about these things but cormac seems like i need atleast some literary knowledge to atleast understand his brilliance
