    So I’m at the cables doing biceps right. This old blonde b**** in her 60s comes up to my cable (there are 3 other available ones) and I go sorry I have one more set. She flips a s*** cause I’m resting. I’m like there’s cables everywhere you can use. You know what this weird ass b**** says? “Maybe I don’t WANT to use those cables.” I’m like okay you have problems and go back to my set. As I’m turned around working out she goes “honey I don’t have a problem, you just need to lighten up.”

    getting back into my gym routine.

    my overhead press reps/sets have gone down a little, but i'll pick it back up

    also, highly recommend the Strong app for anyone tracking their workouts. super customizable and can see your progress after your workout

    After 4 years of weekly5-day workouts (excluding days when I was sick, on vacation), I decided this week to give it a break. I have been doing exercise because it made me feel better but lately for the last 5 or 6 months I have been lacking that serotonin or "runners high" that I got for a long time and kept me motivated to stay in shape. Any tips on how to regain this?

    Will defo start again today. Feel motivated again and this rest week was needed.

  • best friend in town for a visit and we hit the gym, he got his coach certification last year and working on further qualifications. bro told me if I was with him benching back in high school I probably could go pro by now always told me I had mad potential and I started doing it seriously only after I left hometown ima make him proud though
