take your ankle and angle it upwards and feel the pull it does on your shin? when that stretch feeling becomes tight and uncomfortable to where you can’t bend your ankle like that without pain (which is essential for running cause that’s what our leg does as it’s stepping)

ok so about a month a go i was stretching on my foot board its the one where you can adjust it to high to low levels w.e so i was stretching with socks on and i was trying to put my feet together and i was kind of slipping off so i think i applied to much pressure on the stretch that now any time when i move my ankle i feel something is there its not painful or anything what do you think it can be i have been doing some stretches in the morning like i bend my knees and and i lean back and forth with my feet planted to the floor

have you tried rolling your ankle around with your foot on its heel and see how that feels? like without the board pressure behind your foot to see if that feeling is still there
