i wanna do this but 2 days+arms. sounds like a good idea but iunno if all in all this is enough load for one week
I’ve traditionally been a 4 day split guy but I Think I’m going to experiment with a 2.5 day split and get more Cardio in
2 full body days
1 day arms/shoulders and gpp(sled work, wheel barrow, farmer carry type s***)
And see if I can fit 3 days of cardio on the other days 1 day rest and finish off this cut once and for all. Been off since the surgery but one last push I think I can finally get below 200

just do cardio after the workouts i dont do heavy cardio if i did i would lose so much weight and i dont wanna cut since i am small guy i am only 5'7 at 175 so i just do incline 10-20 mins 3x a week after weights and mainly i walk a lot at work
going to see a physio regarding my knee since its been in and out bothering me i am just going to lift enough for a while now and not over over do it imo i have been lifting to heavy need to cut it dwn
I'm trying to hit 110lb dumbells on incline but can't seem to unrack them properly
Weirdly enough I can rep 100lbs and unrack/rack them perfectly fine
advice?

it’s gonna sound like im hating but im genuinely curious what do you get out of benching this much?
im small but ive been in sports my whole life and never desired to bench more than 50 and now i never go over 45 I just dont have the desire to. do you weigh 200+? do you like the challenge of lifting heavier? i just don’t enjoy it

Honestly ego + fun + testing my physical capabilities.
My gym maxes out at 120lb dumbbells so my goal is to hit them at least for 3 reps
I’m 185lbs atm. Going to cut in December/January.
What sports do you play?

Get clubs off marketplace or craigslist and find a driving range that’s easy to get to I got my set of woods and irons for $60 on craigslist. If you can somehow get Ping Eye 2’s for cheap get them and use them for life but otherwise you can ask chatgpt. Focus on chipping with wedges and 7-9 irons and putting more than anything. I suck at driving but within 100 yards im automatic. Focus on getting a repeatable swing where you can hit the ball straight distance comes later. Aside from that “How I play Golf” by Tiger Woods helped me out a lot. I’m not really good for but I started last year and one of my friends who competes amateurs said I can qualify for tournaments next year on my trajectory once I can drive consistently. It’s the most addicting game

I gotta get into it. You play even in the winter? Indoor ones?

keep the original split, still factor in cardio (like maybe its own session in the morning fasted), and just focus on your sleep/recovery for maximum gains as you cut

The driving range I live nearby is covered and heated
so went to a physio they nice lady said i got to work more on strengthening the muscle near my knee more so when doing leg extensions instead of full extending it i put a heavy weight where its so heavy i cant extended all way but i hold half way for like 10 secs 5x each so i have been doing that also doing 1 leg squats not all the way but half 2x10 twice a week
is leg pressing 650 a lot or average
Weak

Depends how much you weigh . I’d say if you can hit 4 or 5x your body weigt that impressive

I mean not all leg presses are the same so the number can be different depending on the press
People typically not really comparing their leg presses either
waking up from that post work nap refreshed just to see the time is 15 minutes until the gym closes

I think it’s overrated. You’d get more work from using 1-4 plates and moving your feet placements to activate different parts of your glutes, quads and hamstrings. I found the heavier I go, the less I’m able to really focus on engaging my core through the whole movement and really feeling that stretch in my hammies/glutes by trying to get a deep press
