I cant seem to go past 50kg in military. I can do a full set of barbell bench press at like 92/95kg, ~26/28kg military dumbbell, 18kg curls, without going into the leg exercises.
Its not like im doing too much in other exercises, but still i find it puzzling, i mainly see this problem in myself
I’d say that’s not too abnormal. Some things that might be worth looking into is how well your core is holding when doing your military presses. If your core is weak or not stable that could be a limiting factor preventing you from utilizing all your strength on the overhead press. Another way to help improve that number is with more incline presses which takes the core out of the equation. If you have the adjustable benches and can do a steep incline it’s almost more of a shoulder press than a chest press.

Now that you mention it, my core could be the issue behind some of my limits when lifting some heavy weights especially with squats for example, where i found out i can lift a lot more with machines compared to a simple barbell squat. Gonna have to be a core/abs summer for me, thanks for the tip

I always have this slight feeling of apprehension before leg day at the gym. This feeling where I’m just like “god I do not want to go do this.”
But as soon as I get to my working sets in I have the most intense feeling of euphoria as soon as I finish the lift. It’s so f***ing good.
That’s why for me the best gym is the closest gym. The shorter the distance the less resistance I have for just getting in there and getting under that bar

anyone ever feel one side of their back work harder than the other during deadlifts? i noticed today my left lat felt like it was getting extra stretched, almost to the point of being uncomfortable. maybe i went a little wider with my hand placement on one side by accident? i try and take my time to line up my hands to avoid that so idk what was different today, never felt that before

Don’t think I’ve ever felt that but I also have always used split grip
Landmine row connector keeps coming out the backplate cuz I got too much weight on the bar

Every now and then when I’m doing typical weight on my accessory lifts s***’ll be so light and I’ll be like damn when did my strength improve so much on this lift
Always trying to do a little more to progress every session and then boom huge bump
