i think its kinda difficult to accurately gauge what your maintenance calories actually is. for me, based on the online calculators i've done, my maintenance should be around 2600 or so and to gain weight i should be eating around 3000. but i literally don't gain any weight while eating 3000 - i literally have to eat around 3500-4000 to gain weight lol
in your case i think its a matter of actually knowing what your maintenance calories actually is. if you're sure that your maintenance cals are 3000 then you should be losing weight at 2300. also you might not be giving yourself enough time to actually notice the differences

just copped a weight belt w the chain for weighted dips and pull ups and bout to cop a cheap dip bar and adjustable bench
Now I just need to find and buy the most important part of lifting.. the actual weights smh s*** is either taxed or sold out everywhere tho smh

Finally did legs for first time since injury pre lockdown in March, feels like I’m getting back to old form now. Also walking to gym and back has been great for cardio and listening to podcasts
