For those that have done intermittent fasting in the past or are practicing to. Do you drink black coffee during your fast or no?

I did IF for about 3 years and never drank coffee. Black coffee is such little calories that it wouldn’t count as breaking your fast so you can go ahead and drink it outside your window. Ima keep it 100 tho IF is a fad diet and most of the hype behind it isn’t real except for the fact that it forces you to consume less calories due to the restricted time frame.

Fr. I fw the discipline aspect of it and the idea that it forced me to eat less. But all that talk about ‘increased hgh + testosterone etc’ is all bs. Those incremental increases literally won’t do s*** for your overall physique/body. It’s like dumping a bottle of water into a pool and thinking you did something

I do a 12-14 IF. e.g. If I finish eating at 8pm I won't eat again till 8am (or later). It's easier that way cos you're sleeping during the fast for the most part lol. Nothing wrong with drinking black coffee, I tend to have one in the morning with breakfast and maybe another in the afternoon.
Thing is with IF and other fasting regimens is that people think it's a cure all instead of looking at it as part of a healthy lifestyle that includes exercising, eating healthy, getting enough sleep etc. Don't overthink it too much and occasionally try longer fasts as well.

Yeah definitely get some imaging done on that. X-ray at least maybe even some other stuff if it's available or the problem isn't easily identified. Also see about getting a referral for physical therapy. Its boring as hell doing PT but can save u so much pain in the long run.

ive been to a PT before for other issues and i dont really mind it cause both times it helped me alot

Yeah they might just prescribe u some muscle relaxers and tell you to take it easy. I would be persistent about it because spinal issues are no f***in joke. So if you aren't feeling better after doing whatever the doc suggests then definitely do a follow up appt.
