Do y’all jot down your workouts before you get to the gym or freestyle when you get there?
I’ve found that I’ve had waaaay better workouts when I know what muscle groups I’m hitting and just do sets and reps based on how I feel.
Used to write it down but found that I would either set myself short or totally overwhelm myself with too many exercises.
Feeling it out allowed me to kinda listen to my body and get a better and more efficient workout in

I’m a pre planning guy
getting a membership thurs. been a minute, was running heavy in the summer but kinda slipped off
What belt and wrist straps do you guys use?
Been getting halfway up lifts and then my grip gives out or I just don’t have enough confidence on my bracing. And tbh while time will definitely make both these factors better, I’m f***ing sick of not hitting a 485 DL lol
Yo yall im just coming back from a long ass injury, got 2 herniated discs in my thoracic spine
I realized my back has gotten weak AS F***.
Im barely able to perform 3 sets of 5 reps of pulls ups, damn.
Wondering, what yall think how long itll take me to be able to do 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps again?
I cant be doing them every day either as theyre too stressful for my back. I'll prolly go like 2 times a week..
Make sure ur pulling to belly button to activate all late. Mess around with row position and hand alignment. Supinated grip hits lower lats more than overhand
Been using this since you posted it. I feel like it's been doing good for me. Thanks again
close grip lat pulldowns will hit your lats harder. consider doing heavy dumbell/barbell pullovers to make your anterior serratus explode and buff up your lats.
heavy deadlifts, if you haven't been doing them, will also bulk up your ab muscles but particularly your obliques, on top of working your lats heavy too
I started doing deadlifts after reading this. I f*** with them. I was surprised at how much of my body it actually uses.

i've converted another into the holiness of deadlifts
im glad they're working out for you brother
and yep, the heavier you go, the more it takes a really heavy toll on you. you can just see how many muscles are recruited into the lift

No problem happy to help. Another piece of advice I saw that i like for row movement is focus on pulling elbows back first then finish with contracting your biceps. Might be obvious for some but it's a good que to remember
Anyone tried using an ab wheel roller? Did you find it efficient?
imo it’s pretty good, just make sure you’re form is correct otherwise you’re just wasting time

Yeah it’s dope and it works your lower back really well too

Tbh, if youre a gym rookie you should rather stay away from deadlifts.
Theyre dangerous af if performed incorrectly and its VERY easy to f*** up the form.
Even the form in that pic is f***ed up. I f***ed up my neck doing em like that.
