    Tbh, if youre a gym rookie you should rather stay away from deadlifts.

    Theyre dangerous af if performed incorrectly and its VERY easy to f*** up the form.

    Even the form in that pic is f***ed up. I f***ed up my neck doing em like that.

    Agreed, it’s a good exercise but too many are pushed on it as complete beginners. Romanian dead’s are better for new people imo

    Yea that pic made me lol too, but this isn't bad advice if you are a true beginner maybe spend a few weeks on learning to recruit those muscles you probably aren't used to using. And watch and try to understand videos and mental ques to perform it safely

    RDLs are the ultimate for hamstrings

    You had a good point till you said romanians are safer. If you're looking for a hip hinge do hip thrusts they hit the same muscles as a deadlift and you can load it as you progress. The point is anyone new to the deadlift must learn from someone reputable not a random good looking youtuber

    I'm eating like 3500 calories at 6'8 222 and I'm very lean

    My meals are filling and I'm keeping the skin on my kiwi and sweet potatoes

    It's feels like hunger mode is always on, even when I snack on chickpeas, apples, and protein bars throughout the day

    Been thinking about adding steak or something in the morning for more fat. Any foods you would recommend to add?

    Steak, chicken, ground beef or turkey

    Snacks like nuts, beef jerky, Greek yogurt.

    Edamame is good too. Probably should up your carbs too, add some pasta

    Idk what your goal weight is but you def gotta eat a lot more at that height.

    Eating often =\= eating a lot. Maybe try to up your cals by 500-1000?

    Could also add in extra protein scoops for more calories

    You can eat carbs and still be lean, it’s about not having both high fats and high carbs, either one or the other

    at this hotel rn & its all inclusive

    im eating 80 grams of natural protein a day at least, almost no carbs and all healthy fats

    I always stock up on frozen edamame. 20 gs of protein for like one dollar. S*** goes dumb w some soy sauce
