At 5'7 150lbs he's just skinny, and he's eating at least 1k cals below maintenance

for everyone doing at-home workouts
is it better to do fullbody every 2 days or split up body parts ? only have dumbbells and my gym is still closed a year later. when i used to go to the gym i’d split up monday-friday but idk how much exercises i’d be able to do for chest for example with only dumbbells

Lotta misinformation in this thread tbh
there's only like 3 people itt who actually know what they're talking about

form contrast is striking. hips especially not shooting up being the most important correction. lesss go
Who here has experience with lean bulking. Is it basically just a lesser increase? i.e. 350 calories above maintenance?
Guys remember to strengthen your core every day and stretch every day.
I went back to my regular weight lifting range before covid finally this week. But I was lacking in my core strength. So yesterday I had a burning sensation over my abs during work and I was freaking out.
Turns out my core is tight and shrunk and beat up from lifting heavy (for my lifting skills). It was f***ing up my digestive system too. Now I got to rest for about 2 weeks and just focus on core work outs.
Stay safe lifting, don't cheat your reps, and brace your core for all your lifts

It's mainly casual lifters in here that's why. Most people can get away with some s***.

Agreed. Core/legs/stretching are the foundation. I do like 300 reps of ab workouts 4 days a week and I train legs 3-4.
I remember when I first started lifting and my legs would shake during curls. Who would’ve thought the two things that people avoid would actually help you
Pre worky make the pain go away. She don’t want me
lmao funny thing is that I took preworkout for the first time when I hit my max again this past week. S*** made me finish my workout on time, and that's probably when I ignored any tweaks or mistakes I was doing while lifting.

i stretch before and after it helps so much and i use resit bands to stretch as well also its great because you dont feel as tight working out

not punched like sore after a workout.
But a warm tingly burning sensation like a I had a heated on my abs.
Basically a recipe for disaster if I ignored it. I had to pee so much yesterday.
Basically it's your abs losing control on holding everything together so even my digestion was acting goofy.
Stretched for a good 20 mins this morning and the difference is huge.
