what do u discuss with other ppl that go to gym? I know at least three in my office and I have 0 idea what can I talk ab with em. ive not been at it long and best thing I managed to do is get rid of that banana strawberry whey and swap it w my colleague for the chocolate one

Nah I’m always trying to get stronger cause it means I’m getting bigger
That’s why I can’t stay lean year round cause eventually I’ll get the urge to put on more mass

this is basically me
im tryna just get a little bigger and maintain that but i'm well past any desire to hard bulk
i'm already vegan so eat rather clean but im working on cutting out more processed foods and just eating whole foods
going to physical therapy for a foot I broke years ago but when its better I'll be back to cycling to work and I already have some dumbbells and bodyweight stuff I do on the daily
no clear goals aside from that extra 5-10 lbs of mass gained over a long period of time and generally to be healthier
i have a light case of ehlers-danlos so I cant lift heavy even if I wanted and I hate the gym so I stick with the bodyweight and DB stuff and do yoga as well
right now trying to build stability in my body, a stronger core and shoulder girdle as well as pelvic floor so that when I do start increasing weights slowly I dont get injured

So my body’s starting to break down. Just started lifting heavily and consistently for first time in like 4 years and seems like my body can’t handle it. Think I injured both labrums and now my elbow is starting to hurt. Any help here? Labrum is killing my bench. Was at 275-295 for 8 a few weeks ago, now I’m struggling to do 225 for the same amount

Honestly, we were going up heavy quickly. Increments of around 25 weekly. My joints don’t seem to be cooperating

Ideally it would be making my muscles larger but I’m aware of my stupid fast metabolism so yeah it feels like it’s basically just to maintain the look I have currently
