anybody have advice/stretch routines for getting flexibility?
i used to be super flexible as a kid and i do light stretching before deadlifts/squats, but it’d be sick to be able to do s*** like this again
hate having scoliosis
I had scoliosis and went and did a fusion
1 year post op coming up next month
Anyone know any foam rolling techniques for fascia buildup in your back s***s killing me
being flexible af and working out feels so good because you can stretch in unusual places of your body that get tense sometimes and afterwards your body feels so happy and relaxed .

congrats on the successful operation
I don't think my scoliosis is bad enough for surgery, and tbh I'm terrified of getting it
how are you doing now? I heard it's impossible to bend over once your spine is fused

Btw yeah bending fully to touch your toes is a no go.You can bend to pick something up tho for sure. But yeah my recovery was pretty smooth.Started gym only 3 months post op.Generally speaking i feel great and I'm so happy to see myself in the mirror and not seeing my hunch(idk how that s*** is called in English)
And i went from 6'2 to 6'4

Just roll tbh but never lower than where your ribs connect to your spine. Also roll your upper glutes. Just google glute foam rolling. Don't i repeat DONT roll your IT band no matter what anyone says.
And start stretching after workouts and before bed when your fascia is at its most broken up and relaxed. DownDog is a good yoga app for learning the basics. Once you know a few stretches for every muscle/muscle group you can kinda just do your own little routine for what you've just worked out/where you know you are tight.
You could also look for a cheap yoga studio in town. There's one where I live with 5 dollar classes.
Absolutely buzzin that I rode my bicycle to work today. Feelin the burn in my lungs. My foot feels fine. Legs all wobbly.
Can't wait to get back into cardiovascular shape after smoking so much for so long
This girl decided to ask my ass for a spot when she was squatting. I was across the gym lol and there was two buff ass guys resting doing bench press next to her. She was definitely shooting her shot no? I didn’t get to go to the gym today at the same time so hopefully I see her Saturday or Monday so I can introduce myself. She caught me off guard with that 😩
Dam playboy I see you
been a while since i post on here i did 3 plate squat yesterday dam feeling it now
Same bro !

i always take 15 mins to stretch before and after working working out but for those 2 you wanna stretch pretty much everything
Thanks bro
