For someone who's new to lifting, what's a good kg of dumbells to start with?
Is this for a home gym?
Yep
I would get an adjustable set that comes with 50kg of weight. This doesn’t mean you’ll start with that weight obviously but that’s future proofing the purchase. Other common starters come with 20kg but if you lift diligently you’ll surpass that for some movements quite quickly
Depending on your experience and the movement you can add and subtract as you need to. I would focus on form before worrying about the weight.
Good luck 🫡
If you got athlete’s foot stay out the gym til you figure that s*** out. Got the locker room smellin like sumn died
Yep
Whatever dumbbells you get make sure you squeeze that s*** as hard as you can. A loose grip wont activate the muscle you are trying to work out.
real snackers gain 4kg in a day
