I had to get that Danganronpa Trilogy & Utawarerumono Prelude physicals

good looks

started up utawarerumono prelude to the fallen a week or so before smt v dropped. story was interesting and wanna keep playing/reading, but man, i'm not the biggest fan of tactical/srpgs, so it's a bit rough to get through. heard the story is fantastic though, so i gotta get through it (and the other two games in the series) at some point. def has some pretty decent music.

sucks the digital versions aren't avilable for the other two games though. pretty sure there's some licensing issue or something to that effect, so it got taken off of psn earlier this year.

Ah, was afraid of the gameplay not being very fun too as I'm not a fan of tactical games either

Yeah I had to go on a deep search to find them under $100 back in May lol, I think POPnGAMES has them right now for good price atleast

it is a remake of the first one, which is an old ass game, so that might be it. believe i've read people say the others are better since they're more modern games. just not a fan of those types of games, so that's prob it

and yeah, those songs were playing within the first hour so i was already happy to hear some good music need more music similar to fata morgana man. closest thing i can really think of is just some sort of classical music, but it's not the same

i was looking at the games a few weeks back, but only really saw copies on ebay. think i saw em for like $40~ on amazon as well.

Gonna def play these next year, but prob need to play 13 Sentinels & Steins Gate first, s*** been sitting on the shelf for a minute now

13 sentinels is phenomenal. really wish i could play through it again for the first time. still need to read through steins gate as well. i tried watching the anime a couple times, but i just couldn't get through the beginning

Hope those games are a slow burn and not overhyped

according to my friends, steins gate is more of a slow burn (at least with the anime). i know i'll love it, i just need to sit down and get through it. i just can't stand the main character's gimmick/schtick because it's annoying as hell to me lol.

need that ff6 pixel remaster

not sure. hopefully though. its the only remastered one that i really wanted to play

Just finished the Yuffie DLC and that s*** was so hard man, I need news on pt2 of 7 remake

Finished Final Fantasy IV. I couldn't see why it was so highly regarded until around halfway through when the story really started to pick up. As with every other retro RPG, I wish the game had a fuller script to really explore the ideas in its narrative but I can't fault it for being a product of its time.

Finally ready for Endwalker. I'm excited to see how the expansion incorporates elements from IV in to its own narrative.

im tryna get into xenogears as a big xenoblade fan, but damn the gameplay/combat sucks ass. its hella confusing to start, and the more i read about it, the less i like it. i at least made it out the first village and the story is pretty good, but not feeling too motivated to push on much further
