yup. i played the PS5 demo and it was entertaining. yeah its not turn based anymore (i believe its considered a spinoff series) but it has a decent gameplay flow going off the demo

Do you like turn based games? Whilst the game is turn based it also takes place on a grid so range and movement need to be taken into account. Speed is also an important factor as the game has turn order depending on speed somewhat similar to FFX if you played that and theres quite a few ways to manipulate turn order. Other than that theres the games Orbment system which can be pretty overwhelming when first starting out.

re: Orbment System, I remember being pretty confused by it at first but once you understand I think its actually one of the cooler systems in JRPGs since theres quite a bit of depth to it; most important thing is understanding Orbment lines; some characters have 2 lines, some have 3. The less lines a character has the better because it means that its a lot easier to stack elemental gems/values and get the orbal art that you want.

Estelle has 2 lines (top right of the image; notice the yellow/blue lines), what you want to do is look inside the bracer journal and figure out which orbal art you want; the journal will say the elemental value required for the art.

Example: Earth Wall art requires a total of 9 earth elemental gems. This means that you need either the orange or blue line to add up to 9; so all you do is slot in enough quartz with earth elemental gems. If you take a look at Estelle's Orbment you can notice that the top slot is shared by the orange/blue lines (where HP1 currently is) so what you usually want to do is put in a quartz with high values that you want to be shared between both lines.

It sounds pretty complicated but its quite simple once you play around with it.

Trails in the sky SC Chapter 7

Just got to chapter 7 i think (Joshua joins the party again), was in f\*\*\*ing awe when Estelle got captured by the society and the camera panned out to show the f\*\*\*ing Glorious ship; that was a crazy moment; also hilarious with how much the Arseile was hyped up then its revealed the society has something like this lmao. I'm enjoying SC tho, character interactions are top tier in this and I like the society organisation as what is keeping the plot moving forward. I'm still not a fan of Estelles development being tied to the Joshua romance thing but it doesnt bother me that much; I just liked the brother/sister dynamic in the beginning of FC more

Ah yeah, you're getting there. Ouroboros is insane man. All I'm gonna say is they got some crazy assets at their disposal lol. I do agree with the Joshua/Estelle relationship. Don't think it's bad or anything, but prefer the sibling relationship more. Fortunately they don't lean super hard into it so I almost forget they're more than siblings. Though I will say, the moment on the beach after they get away from the Glorious was really nice.

How much playtime do you have?

Think I have around 60h playtime, think around 3 or 4 hours of that is me just being idle. Also agree with the scene of Estelle/Joshua being on the beach; Estelle was really spittin
