it looks like it uses a lot of previous assets so thats probably why
its a fun game (esp if youre a OP fan) just a bit easy
In Chapter 2 of Cold Steel 3 and this game really makes you wish you played the unlocalized Crossbell duology
I refuse to play them with fan translations on my MacBook tho so f*** it. I’ll play them if they ever come to the west
Time to start them up lets ride

did you ever finish the cold steel saga or did you put it on pause to wait for the translations?

I finished up til 4 and I’m def playing reverie day 1 this summer
I just been waiting for crossbell for so long. Both finally out so I’m locking in
A lot of characters and references to the crossbell games in cold steel 3 and 4 so I’m sick these didn’t drop sooner

Nice, though just so you know, Zero is kind of a similar situation to CS3 where there are references to characters from the Sky saga, one of the arcs from Sky actually ends in this game

It never ends
Need the Calvard arc to come to the west asap so I know wtf going on from day 1
There was a recent interview where the newly-appointed Final Fantasy XI producer Yoji Fujito briefly touched upon preserving the game:
—In summary, what are your aspirations as the new producer of "FFXI"?
FUJITO: Every year we set goals for the "FFXI" project for the new year, but I also set a personal goal for myself as the new producer. I want to preserve "FFXI" in some form or another. In today's world, online games, whether smartphone games, PC games, or home video games, have become mainstream, but in many cases, there is nothing left after the service ends. Hypothetically speaking, we definitely do not want the title "FFXI," which celebrated its 20th anniversary and was enjoyed by many people, to come to an end sometime in the future and leave nothing but memories. We want to leave behind a record of how the characters in Vana'diel moved and what kind of atmosphere they had when they played the game, in any way we can.
I hope this means an offline version of XI is in development, especially in light of Dragon Quest X Offline. I’ve heard the narrative is worthwhile so I really want to try the game out at some point.

Same here, I heard really good things about the expansions of XI
I still need to play Xenoblade 2 then 3

I really need to play this lmao, I have heard some people say its the best in the series and some say its the worst

I hate that game man Something tells me you'll like it, but yeah, I don't see much in between on opinions with that game. It's either the best in the series or the worst.
I think the issue for me is that my enjoyment of something tends to heavily relies on how much I enjoy the characters (and story), and I really don't get much out of that in the Xenoblade games in general so it all just falls flat to me.

XBC2 for me is the best, but that’s also cause it was my entry point to the series. It was like the perfect storm, 2020 lockdown, just finished watcheing JJBA for the first time, and for whatever reason a clip of XBC2 was recommended to me on my YouTube. Decided to peep, I see a kid and what looks to be a Stand fighting together. Instant cop.
XBC3 is the best overall game, but 2 got a special place in my heart. Combat wise XBC2: Torna The Golden Country has the best combat mechanics of the entire series.
