only modern i really like and enjoy are abso-batman, and ultimate spider-man. Here the others in that line are great too, but yea thats all i know

The avengers and new avengers runs he both wrote are absolutely must read IMO especially if we talking about essential reading for books leading up to secret wars

Check out God Country by Donny Cates. Peep that and once you finish report back so we can see if you liked it or not. From there we can try and figure out some better recs, but i think you're gonna love God Country. Donny Cates was on one hell of a run man, it was truly something special

yeah i actually really ended up enjoying Venom (which i wasn't sure i would) that and Immortal hulk kinda carried Marvel for me during their era

I'm down, I'd like to read a complete hickman story, was a little put off with the way X-Men was handled

BRO donny was on a f***ing run, even with the independents he was f***in crushing it. Its really unfortunate what happened with him ans that accident n all that but goddamn this dude was putting out straight heat left and right in the beginning

Swamp Thing by the goat will and always will be my fave comic ever bro. That entire run is just beautiful and story wise Moore really made me GAF about a character i barely even f***ing understood lol. Anatomy Lesson is one of those issues that was truly mind blowing lol

started working through Tomb of Dracula, gene colan de goat

this was one of my favorite book series as a kid and I decided to finally read through the entirety of the story as an adult. this is one of the greatest graphic novels I’ve ever read. truly feels like a mashup of LOTR and Disney. highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t heard of it.

I have the big ass omnibus for this but haven't read it yet.
