ooooo now that's an idea.
& yeah, i would really need to stop any other program running while i tried to game, aka needed itunes running from my phone.
but it was more than playable for me suprisingly. Got slightly glitchy sometimes playing online with my friends but was mostly fine.
I convinced myself i needed an xbox 360 when halo 3 first came out, so now im doing the same for D4 and a desktop.
1200$ (CAD) a reasonable upper cap for a starter tower for gaming?
yeah you should be able to build a nice PC for that money
did you have any specific parts picked out?

i've been looking at the $200 price range and to me it seems like the difference from $75-200 isn't much..
damn i wish i was working
My case came today and its gorgeous
Wanted the white but they were sold out
whatchu get
whatchu get
p400a
White one was badass though. This is my first build so I wanted something that I could upgrade ''future proof''. The spacing and air flow is pretty unmatched from cases this price.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I am currently building a new PC since my last one is starting to suck. Currently I just use an HDD and am upgrading to an SSD but still want to use my old hard drive as extra space. My HDD has my OS and all my games on it. Is there any way I can just swap my HDD into my new computer and continue to use it and have access to all my old files and games and somehow erase the windows operating system from it? Or am I going to have to wipe it clean to be able to use in my new system?
currently have a 7700k and gtx 1080
upgrading next year probably
Same except 2080 super, 7700k going strong

What's the best gaming keyboard and mouse? Wireless?
wym best? if you mean for competitive gaming keyboards dont really give any perceivable advantage. otherwise it's all preference based on switches, form factor etc.
mice more tricky because "gaming" mice do offer a perceivable advantage in gaming. you dont wanna be using an office mouse with a s***ty sensor. if you have a good sensor it all falls on mouse shape, size, weight etc. modern wireless mice great too btw, as good as wired. id recommend the g pro wireless if you got some bread & wanna stick with wireless. it's a pretty neutral mouse size/shape/weight thats great for 90% of people

I mean like what's the preferable standard for long term gaming? Price ain't a issue.

i personally like using 60% keyboards for gaming, its all i really need and the small form factor is great. something like the anne pro 2, ducky one 2 mini, vortex POK3R would be good with whatever switches or keycaps you like. will run anywhere from like 80-120$.
id still recommend the g pro wireless for a mouse. its pretty much the standard for gaming mice atm plus im sure you could return it if you didnt like it. right now i main the glorious model o. its a bit more niche tho because it's super light and a little on the larger side. but it was like 50$ and its been serving me great
