yeah. the closest alternative cases would be some of phanteks' itx cases or nzxt's h1 case. i'm thinking of going that route for my next build. just waiting on next gen ryzen and nvidia cards
you gotta be real meticulous with the dimensions of all the parts before hand though. dont wanna buy something thats a few mm too tall or wide.
Marketing ig. It comes with a free aio cpu cooler which is nice but it’s nothing special.
Thinking my next build is going to be a SFFPC.
I need an upgrade/update badly. It’s been 8 years.

goodluck those things are crazy
Only two more parts left to cop.
why didnt u go nvme ssd
also that psu is insane i need one

I built one without a GPU a few months back
gonna build one with a big beefy GPU someday tho

No GPU?
I'm still undecided atm. It's something that I might think about seriously in the summer. But right now it's a SFFPC fully loaded with s***. I might get a ultrawide monitor to replace my dual monitor setup.

yeah it has a built in iGPU built it for someone that doesn't game
it's tiny, it uses a laptop power brick
and I love the ultrawides also I think I wanna get a super ultrawide someday something like the crg90 samsung but with a higher resolution
yeah the sffpc stuff is cool but costs more than a normal pc
Would someone in here be able to help me? I recently bought a Gigabyte RX 5700 XT GPU but when I compare my benchmarks to some I’ve seen on YouTube and stuff it’s decently lower FPS wise, like ~30% lower. Is this caused by me having a worse CPU than them and I’m getting bottlenecked? (I have a i7-6700k). Or something else?? It just feels like such a big difference that idk of my CPU would bottleneck that much of a difference but I don’t really know tbh

what resolution and frame rate are you playing at

1080p on a 60hz monitor. I know that limits FPS but shouldn’t the gpu still be putting out higher frames, it’s just that the monitor can’t keep up with them? Saw a benchmark on YouTube of a guy play Assassins Creed and he getting like 90 FPS on Ultra and I barely average 54
Are people still hoarding GPUs or have productions halted due to the pandemic? Cause all the Nvidia GPUs I see on their site are sold out.
Will it always be like this? Cause I'm seriously thinking about a summer build rn.

it definitely sounds like you have a bottleneck somewhere, your cpu seems good enough for 1080p 90 tho depending on the game
you should turn on relive overlay metrics in the game
go into the amd control panel click on the gear click general and turn on the overlay
you can see if your gpu or cpu is maxing out with that on

Seen a couple videos of people talking about how hard it is to get parts rn bc of everything going on so that might be it tbh. I used r/buildapcsales to get my new GPU and monitor cause everything was sold out where I looked and it rlly helped
