I'm on the same boat right now. The price of the case alone makes me want to turn and just build a regular sized PC where I can use some of the extra money towards the GPU or a new monitor.
I just f*** with it because of the aesthetics is futureproof. That's what I'm trying to build for my next one just like I did with the current one I'm on right now.
7 years
Hasn't failed on me once. Got the original Samsung SSD I got with it still going as well.
currently upgrading my rig and got most of my new specs
couldn't find my thermal paste so i had to order some new s***, and just my luck it's coming in from china
S*** so expensive
Aye help me out with sumn im tryna understand
I really don't get the difference between the Nvidia GPUs
Why is it so confusing (I got a 1660Ti)
1050, 1060, 1070, 1080 then again the Ti versions
1650, 1660 - yet again a super and a Ti for the 1660
So tf is going on, can someone list them like from worse to better, i don't get it
Never understood this tbh, why does it have to be like this

In terms of generation, 20 is newer than 16 (and it has raytracing), 16 is newer than 10
Within a generation, cards get better as the number increases, so 1660 is better than a 1650.
Nvidia recently did the Super s***, which is basically a better version of the card. Ti is another improvement above super.
Generally it would go 1660 Ti > 1660 Super > 1660 >1650 Super, etc.

hm, this is best explanation by far
so about the 10 generation then
is it 1050,1060,1070,1080 chronologically? meaning 1080 is the best one?
Soon as I get a post-grad job, I'm building another gaming rig around this 1080 I just got laying around
what super duper water cooler do you guys recommend to control my temperature for all the p*** im gonna watch ???

Yes
I got a build in my cart sitting for 3k canadian (including everything from mouse and keyboard to OS)
Specs:
Ryzen 3700x
EVGA Geforce RTX 2060, 8GB gDDR6
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB internal SSD
MSI Performance Gaming Gen X570 Motherboard
2x16 GB Ram
This is for video editing and music production with a bit of gaming on the side.
A fully suited up iMac relatively costs the same, any ideas on what upgrades or alterations I should do? I’m going to be handling 4k raw film on Premier and Da Vinci as well as producing on Ableton.
I can't take wires anymore.
I'm going back to wireless (Keyboard/Mouse) on my next build. That setup pic only made me want a wireless setup even more.

you get much better multicore and slightly better single performance with the 3950x over the 9940x
the 9940x has a much higher TDP and is much older tech (7nm vs 14nm) meaning that it will be harder to cool and keep running under peak performance if you put the CPU under stress often
also the CPU socket those chips are on aren't getting any new chips, there is still a Ryzen 4 refresh and maybe even more coming to the AM3 platform
the Ghost S1 is such a clean case
