What is your goal with this build?
Could you afford to upgrade to a ryzen 3000 APU?

2400g is 2000 series ryzen
2400g is 2000 series ryzen
oh s*** mb I thought it was, yeah the 3400g is about the same price but is giving me compatibility issues now
I eventually wanna upgrade parts when I have more money to run bigger games at max settings
The price its saying there in the pic is literally breaking my budget rn lol, may have to go to my microcenter and get refurbished parts (things that arent worth getting new ofc)

Is it motherboard issues? B450 doesn’t support ryzen 3000 out the box msi max series is the mother board you’d need for out the box ryzen 3 support.

ah okay I see, yea its mobo issues, even with the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G, it says "Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Picasso CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions."
and my budget is like ~$700 max
this was my last build, it worked great, would just like an upgrade in fps/video quality, and space honestly

ty bro, you're a godsend 🙏
This what I have rn pcpartpicker.com/list/RsdrDx
What resolution are you aiming for ?
How many frames?
Why did you choose a 2070 over another card?
Do you have a previous cpu to use ? That mother board doesn’t support ryzen 3 out the box it needs a bios update
Benchmarks vary depending on the cpu, did you check benchmarks with the cpu that you chose?
If you’re on a budget I’d recommend the 5700 xt the price to performance is better that card beats the 2070 in some games, if you’re not a budget get the RTX 2080 non super you save some money vs the super and get the same performance minus 5 - 10 frames if that many.
You’ll need to switch that motherboard to one of the MSI “max” series board’s they support ryzen 3 CPUs out of the box.
Might be off topic but how do y’all cable manage?
If u got a good case u can stuff everything in the back.
Suggestions for parts to get to build a PC that I can use primarily for FL Studio, Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, and occasionally live stream gaming? I have no idea where to start but my laptop ain't cuttin it so now I gotta do build somethin

Ryzen 7 3700x is where you need to start
Or 2700x if you’re on a budget
