burn in has gotten a lot better in the last few years
they automatically dim static pixels and shift the image around on the screen by a few mm every once and a while you can barely notice it but it definitely helps, I have played games with HUDs up for hours and never had an issue
yeah definitely exciting times for new hardware excited to see what comes out in the next year
Hmm well then... I am looking forward to getting an OLED TV and monitor in 2022
It looks like it'll be worth the wait tbh. It's been awhile since I got this excited for everything PC related and it looks like things will only get better. I think stuff like PSU's, PC cases and NVME M.2 SSD's will also be something to look forward to. Things are now different in a good way now tbh. The Tech guy in me is loving what's going on right now and I've a feeling that some good surprises will be happening in the next 6-12 months

yeah its nice the tech has come a long way in OLED
and yeah it should be interesting to see how all the new CPUS/GPUS do, new SSDs look promising also
DLSS competitor, it will support the consoles, AMD CPUs/GPUs and Nvidia GPUs 10 series and later
Nvidia announcing something
3070ti June 10th 8GB $599
3080ti June 3rd 12GB $1199
3070ti June 10th 8GB $599
3080ti June 3rd 12GB $1199
They know damn well the 3080ti should be like $899/$999

they did this same s*** with Turing
I guess they just figure everyone is marking them up cause the supply is so low why not mark them up some
funny how in August Jensen was out there talking about cheaper prices for gamers
Ethereum GWEI is coming down hard tho I expect miners to be selling soon enough

I'm just waiting for the 2022 stuff now. It's all about 8K and above for me now
But I am glad that some OLED monitors are finally been made which I also hope it's good for the ms stuff so it's 1 ms and under
Also wait $1200 and it's out June 3rd 2021? I see... Man that must mean if they made a RTX 3090 Ti/Super so would it cost $1800 - $2000... Oh well it's better than the scalper prices

yeah I think it would be nearly 2k lol
yeah the 3080ti just seems like a 3090 with less vram looking over the reviews this morning

Yeah so far... I would still get the RTX 3090 or RTX 3090 Ti/Super instead of the RTX 3080 Ti... But I am glad that they made one though. But still Nvidia... Please announce the Ti/Super version of the RTX 3090 soon please!

really glad i bought my gpu right before the lockdowns got underway lol
Nvidia ripping niggas off with them prices. I still entered the step up queue for EVGA…. Don’t know if I’ll do it we’ll see when the time comes.

yeah id set everything to default and take off any OC just to test it
if its still freezing take out some of the ram expect one stick
in my experience motherboards, power supplys and ram are the most likely things to get f***ed up in a power outage but for what you're explaining it seems like a ram or mobo issue
I mean i guess I'll to buy a new cmos battery thank god they're cheap but i can get into the bios and windows recovery but its freezes after boot menu like right before it boots you into log in screen

Yeah my ram has been giving me issues for a while now with memory managment bsod

you can run it without a CMOS battery to test
if its still freezing tho it really seems like you got some hardware issue though
Really hope it isnt my hard drive
do you another computer to make a bootable USB on? you could test it with a Ubuntu live disk
itsfoss.com/create-live-usb-of-ubuntu-in-windows
if the live disk runs its prob the SSD if its still freezing its prob the ram/mobo

Oh s*** dude i booted it in safe mode and it worked! I removed one of my ram sticks and place only one in a different slot so i think it was the memory thanks for helping bro
I spoke too soon not in safe mode doesnt work freezes again
damn that really sucks
definitely seems like something got wrecked in your system :-(
seems like the SSD, RAM or Mobo
really all you can do at this point is start switching stuff out to isolate it 🙃
I'd start with the SSD/HDD since that's the easiest and seems likely with the freezing
trying a live USB of a Linux ISO would be the easiest way to test if you can make one on another computer
