honestly don't care about the 3090ti, just cause I think it will be 5% faster only
4k 240hz MiniLED LCD tho whew exciting
hyped for all the announcements coming tmrw at CES
How can I check if a laptop has a large amount of memory?
like in windows or at a hardware level?
Both?
check the specs,
just fyi they'll call it RAM (random access memory) majority of the time, although some sites will still just say memory.
Also if you're trying to buy a laptop, it doesn't always need to start off with the max ram you want, check if it has empty slots you can add to or if it's easily up-gradable
anyone on here have rpcs3?
im 95% sure my pc is strong enough to run it wel but need some double chhecking
RX5700
i7 9700k
16gb ram cl16 3600

So basically... If I ever do buy an Intel CPU so should I go after the KS version and not the K version. Well it seems like I should always keep that in mind and not just right away for example buy the i9 13900K but wait for the i9 13900KS if possible as in it's not too many months away from been released so like max 2-3 months or at least it not been announced way too late if the non-KS one is out. Anyway nice stuff

looks like you'd be fine, don't run it personally tho

yeah the KS is def better for gaming
not a huge difference but slightly better
ready for QD-OLED, gonna need to get one in the next few years
OLED TVs have been lackluster next to MiniLED LCDs in terms of color/brightness (even though they have better clarity/contrast/color contrast) this should get them closer in Brightness and be way better than any LCD out in terms of Colors
exciting stuff

Nice ASUS... Please release all or most of them please. The one that should have been out in 2022 or 2021 never came out if I am not mistaking so please don't do this again.
Anyway yeah I saw those 2 videos and was kinda unsure about if to share them here or not but since PC gamers do use them so yes it sounds like everyone or almost everyone has something exciting for gamers.
But man...
LG has 4K @ 120 Hz and is this time taking advantage of HDMI 2.1's full bandwidth so 48 GBPS and not 40 GBPS like in 2020 and 2021.
Sony the same thing as well but it's QD-OLED, full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, better audio and it seems like will take better advantage of the PS5 and will have the missing features from the 2020-2021 Sony TV's so VRR, ALLM and a improve Game Mode.
Samsung has some impressive QLED TV's that can do 4K or 8K @ 144 HZ... NICE... And apparently so can 1 of their first OLED (QD-OLED?) TV's do 4K @ 144 Hz apparently? I hope that's true and I hope that a video about it showing that will be out soon so in Q1 or Q2 2022.
And then so is there what ASUS also revealed recently which I still have to read more about so I'll share my opinion on it soon hopefully
And I hope MSI, Acer etc. do have some dope stuff to share soon or that I'll hopefully find something about now maybe or the next time I do get on

hate to see you falling for the click bait news s***
40gbps vs 48gbps per second on a 4k 120hz 10bit TV makes 0 difference man, it's math that signal at the most is 40gbps the exact bandwidth in the SOC on TV it's perfectly engineered.. LG just upped it cause people were upset I feel
there is no reason you need anymore bandwidth because the panel doesn't support 12bit, seems like most people aren't informed not sure why anyone would care or complain other wise
further Displayport 1.4 has even less bandwidth and can still drive that resolution if the TV/Monitor maker adds support for DSC.. I push 5k 240hz over DP 1.4 which is only 32gbps as an example, you could technically drive a 4k 120hz 10bit signal at 20gbps with no difference but LG hasn't added DSC to their TVs, I think only 8k TVs have it right now I could definitely see them doing a OLED someday that's 4k with 240hz over HDMI 2.1 thanks to DSC
LG made some big upgrades to color and brightness as well, doubt it will be enough to be better than QD-OLED but I think those will be on another level (tech and price wise lol)
yeah the Sony should have better brightness also from that heatsink should be best TV out by far
the reason Samsung needed to add 48gbps is because they upped the refresh rate like you said which definitely will be a decent upgrade I'm personally more exciting for the colors and brightness but the more frames the better honestly
yeah I've read these screens are coming Q2 but I also read crazy things about the price, the 65 inch is rumored to be $8k according to people from Korea I hope that's wrong but it wouldn't shock me they've been working on this tech for years imagine the price after Sony's mark up on their version lol
yeah I bet there will be way more monitor brands that have QD-OLED displays now that Samsung is finally getting ready to release the panels

DSC you say huh? Yeah I hope it gets added to not only 8K TV's and 4K ones too... Dunno... Maybe in 2022 or 2023. But no man I am good haha my LG C1 (2021) will be good enough for me until I think it's really time to upgrade to something else. But some of these companies like LG and Sony do make some weird choices and then so do they make you regret not waiting 1 or 2 more years to get a new TV from them... But lol I don't care about this kind of stuff anymore but do hope they'll do a better job next time a TV is out and has HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.1a or in the future HDMI 2.2 (Or whatever it'll be).
Oh yeah that QD-OLED from Sony and Samsung is looking hella nice. I wonder if it'll be a 5 times better version of it by 2023-2027 or will Sony move on to something else that's better? I am excited to see if it'll for example minimize the burn-in thing or add something else that many people want.
Oh yeah the Sony stuff is usually very expensive when it comes to their TV's, some of their smartphones... And who knows what else that's already out or is coming soon. I just hope that they'll take it easy with their TV's prices so I can get a 55" or 65" one in like 5-10 years without having to pay like 3-5 times the price of let's say a TV from LG or Samsung. As I want a Sony TV also because of its Android OS support while LG and Samsung for example is doing their own kind of OS which I do not really like as I want to use my Android smartphone and take advantage of the Android features on Sony's TV's
Q2 2022? Yeah I think that sounds like it's around that time these TV's will be out or nothing later than Q3 2022 hopefully.

yeah definitely exciting times for TVs with all these new OLEDs
yeah DSC will make HDMI 2.1 last for a while I think, yeah Android TV is dope
I'm making a build for a C1 tbh. The brightness on these new QD Oleds are nice but I'm sure the price will reflect that. Plus I saw a C1 demo in a bright Best Biuy and it still looked amazing to me.
Only thing that sucks is finding a damn GPU. ): Picked the woat time. Pandemic ain't helping.
I want to play Elden Ring on a big ass display with beautiful performance. My PS4 has been dead to me for new games for a while now.

Bet. I’m buying a new TV when I move in a couple of months was going to get the LG OLED, but I’ll probably get this if it’s out by then.

rumors out of Korea saying they'll be 6 times the price of the LG panels I was considering upgrading from my C9 but I think I'll wait a few years
my C9 is still the best screen I've ever used for gaming and I have a 240hz Samsung Odessy G
OLED just unmatched in clarity

oh my. yea Ill go for the C1 then lol. still saving but I'm ready to finally get into the 4k life.

it will definitely be a major upgrade
sure you'll love it
yeah I'm not surprised they're just rumors but I can't imagine it will be cheap NanoSYS the company behind this innovation have been working on it for years sure tons of R&D was poured into it
these new QD-OLED TVs are Inkjet OLEDs though and are suppose to get way cheaper than the old type of OLEDs LG makes after a while
the type LG makes are made in a vacuum chamber and they have to be heated and pressurized properly
that's why there is no such thing as a budget OLED TV right now
