yeah definitely exciting times for TVs with all these new OLEDs

yeah DSC will make HDMI 2.1 last for a while I think, yeah Android TV is dope

TV's and monitors tbh... I'll get very excited the next time it's time for me to buy a TV/monitor tbh. But still this QD-OLED thing got me looking forward to how it'll develop in the next 3-5 years though

Hmm dunno if it'll stay just been HDMI 2.1 but it'll be interesting to see what's next after HDMI 2.1a... Like HDMI 2.1b maybe? Anyway I think we'll know during 2022 or early-mid 2023. I just hope that it'll be good and worth it tbh

Btw it's good to see MSI making new products that they haven't done before. I hope ASUS, Acer etc. do that as well. I would like to see them make NVME M.2 SSD's for example and other products and them been done right of course

for sure yeah who knows we need GPUs that can saturate HDMI 2.1 (4k 240hz) before we should worry too much about that tho

yeah lots of a companies making NVMes now

True... I think that would happen in a couple of years when the whole e-Sports thing moves to 4K from 2K so it's 4K @ 144 or 240 Hz in 2023-2024 or something... But it'll take awhile since they moved to 1440p @ 360 (Or 240) Hz I think it was recently so I guess this is one of the things that will be one of the reasons of how fast things will change in regards to gaming, streaming etc.

Yes that's good. And I hope more stuff is in the works as well... It's awesome to see MSI, ASUS etc. trying new things. So it's bigger monitors, TV's and now NVME M.2 SSD's... What's next is hopefully another useful thing for both PC and console gamers and also stuff for the live-streamers/content creators as well

ASROCK B550M-HDV (or B450 if it's subtantially cheaper)

like $80 cheap board should get the job done

edit: i also would recommend the MSI B550-A PRO if you want to do anything more than attach drives and run a light linux OS on it
