aww that sucks man hope you the best in your recovery 👍
dw once this week is over y'all be back bossing it
Gonna do this but with riding my bike.
Didnt go today but I went the past 2 days. Need to get better at this fr. My legs get tired way too quick lol

Picked up running a few weeks ago but I've just been running on a treadmill, this was my first one outside. It was weird, it felt easier than the treadmill but I need to learn how to pace myself. On the treadmill I usually run at 5mph which puts my pace around ~13:45 but when I ran outside today I was running between a ~7:25 and ~9:30. I ended up doing a bit of walking cause my area is pretty hilly and my legs got tired but the pace felt fine before that. Might need to slow down at the start to save energy for the hills so I don't have to walk as much.
Still running 😁
NRC Guided runs so good

I started on treadmill and have switched to outdoor on my last few runs, pacing gets easier and you find your rhythm
You’ll also find you’ll run longer as treadmill runs just get pretty boring tbh whereas outside the time gets away from you when running

Ice them down after every run.

If you have an ice maker, just put the ice in gallon ziplock bags for each leg. sit on the ground and lay your legs out flat or elevate them and set the bags of ice on them. after a few weeks your shin splints will go away.

gotcha
rlly appreciate the advice tbh

Paced myself much better this time and adjusted my route so I could run down a few more hills than up, still plenty of hills though.
