Seriously, they do communicate and have an ecosystem filled with a hierarchy ranking etc. Some plants wage wars to gain land. They may not have eyes, ears nor make audible noises like us Humans or animals do but they can be a******s.

Lets put aside the plant have feelings argument and focus on environmental impact due to animal agriculture shall we?

We grow enough crops to feed approximately 22 billion humans. Yet we feed the majority to animals. Animals that s*** a lot. That s*** pollutes our ground water. Speaking of that ground water, did you know it takes approximately 1800 gallons of water to "grow" one pound of beef? That is hideously inefficient and utterly unsustainable in our modern world. Did you know that animal agriculture is the leading cause of illegal logging as well as species extinction? You know that Amazon forest that is currently on fire? Yeah, it's because they need space for cows and the crops that they require. The conservative estimate is that 100 species go extinct every day. Yes, every day.

So quit the bullshit with the "but plants feel pain too" because even if they did it would still be the morally and environmentally superior option.
