NujaAbout 30 mins into movie 2. I’m finding myself pausing and googling while watching these movies so much to understand certain things.
From what I’m understanding neither side of the war is necessarily good. Just people with good intentions on both sides?
Yea there is no real bad side in Gundam. I get that a lot of the Gundam specific terms can get a bit overwhelming when you are watching it for the first time. Was the same for me when i started watching the movies but once you got them, they are easy to understand.

I really enjoyed movie 1 but was extremely confused with a lot I just decided to look up. I think I’m definitely catching on now

One thing about three series is remembering it’s war. And the reality of war is people die. Even when it’s fictional and you take a liking to them. There life is as expendable as anyone else on the battlefield.

watch mobile suit zeta gundam thats the sequel to the og series. then you could watch the movie char's counterattack
then there's war in the pocket (6 episodes), 08th ms team (13 episodes), and stardust memory (13 episodes). these aren't exactly necessary watches they're more like bonuses to the story but they're all pretty quality especially war in the pocket it's one of the best in the series

thought about getting an eva unit after finishing the show a few months ago might go for that next when i get a chance
