Taylor's just not that innovative of an artist. She does what she does very well, but she breaks more ground as a CEO for her brand than she does as an artist.

All of her albums fall in line with what's happening in music already or serve as a response to critics. MJ, The Beatles, Kanye, Prince, etc. legitimately surprised people and released works of art that moved popular music forward.

Taylor is a great songwriter but her contribution to music is just not on the same level as those artists, so she won't be remembered the same way.

I kinda said she has an international presence. This thread as a whole is asking whether or not Taylor is the biggest star in the world at the moment like MJ, where shes recognized the world over. And honestly, when I drop my hater glasses, she probably is the biggest star in the world at the moment. But still, MJ/Beatles fame was worldwide adoration.

I was in Argentina in November and I remember hearing her songs playing nonstop in shopping centers. This week I was in Brisbane and same s*** happened. She's touring here now and every store is freaking out. UK loves her. China goes crazy for her, probably her biggest fanbase after US. It's basically everywhere at this point.

Its interesting, I think people love her as a personality/face, just as much as they love the music. You have to remember though, MJ had the black community as a whole too. Taylor has black listeners of course, but in the vein of MJ black listeners, nah.

Being big in Asia and Brazil is probably the easiest thing on the planet
