No one’s saying “you have to like it because it’s a Kendrick album”

People make their whole personality around hating albums like this. Like the s*** is not bad and if some people say “it’s ok, not my favorite or anything” I respect that too. But dudes on here be making 50 threads just to let everyone know how they think this is the worst s*** ever. Dudes gotta hop in every thread even mentioning Kendrick and remind everyone how bad they think this album is. It’s just annoying

I think Honestly Nevermind by Drake is absolutely f***ing horrible and he completely missed what he was going for but I don’t gotta remind everyone how trash I think it is everytime someone even mentions Drake. I ain’t talked about that album since it dropped because I didn’t like it so I moved on

I ain’t saying your one of the people that do that and I respect you for appreciating Melt My Eyez and 4:44 but I’m just tired of seeing the forced hate on mr morale because people who can’t form an opinion of their own think it makes them look cool

Wow forgot this was supposed to be a double album. Lotta stupid s*** on the album

“Session 10, breakthrough” oh so every song is supposed to be a therapy session? So what was so therapeutic about N95? Even tho it comes later how is Silent Hill therapeutic?

I get not every song has to follow the concept but a lot of the lyrics on here are shallow and people just eat it up

“Text messaging b****es got my thumbs hurt” is not something a man whose ashamed of cheating would say. That’s a brag line. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.

Reveal he was a cheater, get praise for being honest, and still get to brag about f***in side hoes while the world looks at u as such a genuine man.

Doesn’t want to be a savior but wants the credit for “breaking a generational curse”

honestly a year later i haven’t read a single valid critique on this album on this site

it’s either niggas coping to prop up their favs or niggas who are too slow to get the obvious themes and concepts on the album

it’s a good project, not revolutionary or groundbreaking by any means but it’s decent

I get the themes and concepts but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Niggas are hailing this as Kendrick wiping the slate, he's not this leading figure in hip-hop that people look to speak on social issues anymore because he exposed his own flaws and weaknesses. But after it's all said and done, I think we'll look back at this album and realize it didn't change much
