Rue gotta chill with the d****,cause her sister is growing up mighty healthy
Colorism no doubt exists in Hollywood but Zendaya is just in bigger roles.
Yeah but you niggas aren't asking yourselves why
They always tryna put black people against one another. Sad
Keke & Zendaya legends
It’s not just bigger roles, Zendaya chooses better roles
A lot of the projects Keke takes on…

I think the question becomes can Keke even get in a room with a Denis or a Luca and if not, why is that?
Obviously “colorism” does exist. But you reallly can’t compare two careers and attribute their respective levels of success to one being lighter than the other. It may be true but impossible to prove so why even go there? I love Keke Palmer. She beautiful, talented and I feel like on screen she’s remains true to her and her people. That’s super attractive to and I’ll support all her work because of it. I can say the same about Zendaya but she seems more Hollywood, and chooses roles I’m not always interested in watching.
Very smart breakdown. Agreed.
Goddamn
She’s so f***in attractive
nbagladiator???? bro WHO the f*** is that lmao
OP put this nigga’s name in the title asif he was some ambassador on this topic im crine
keke wasnt in the stupidly popular with the YUTE show for the past 2-3 years.
she wasnt in a huge scifi film. wasnt in one of the highest grossing movies of all time. wasnt in a high profile celebrity relationship
is colorism an issue?? most DEF.
is it an issue here? f*** no. its like context is thrown out the window
Goddamn
What an arrogant b****.
She has been in nothing but trash so far. Except from maybe Nope, havent seen it yet.
Whole comparion is ridiculous. Only thing that matters for mainstream success/audience is looks and to that audience she just looks like a common black woman.
One thing about Zendaya is that she was on a couple of Disney shows so maybe younger Gen Z feel more closer to her for that
KC Undercover wasn’t big like that. Shake It Up was hella popular but it was nothing compared to her as MJ and Rue
as if them both being child stars is the only factor to consider
other people itt already pointed that out though so I'm now making this a h**** post
Keke and Zendaya are two of the finest mfs to ever walk this earth and i'd sever my left arm just to be reborn as their bedroom door handles
Get a grip on yourself
Kinda knew Zendaya would run into this wall and its kinda sad
It’s the same wall everyone who isn’t a straight white man runs into
Nah honestly shoutout Keke Palmer on god cause she's always been up to star in Black centric shows and movies. I don't think she really gets her credit enough for that. She was/is a role model for a lotta Black girls growing up, especially darkskin girls. That s*** means everything.
She was in the TLC movie
Colorism probably played a factor in the type of roles each of them were able to acquire but I'll just speak on the "breakout role" comment. Keke has definitely had a very successful career but the truth is most of the movies she's done were only popular amongst black people. Most black kids growing up in the early 2000s remember Akeelah and remember Madea's Family Reunion. These films were extremely popular in BLACK culture. Zendaya has been a mainstream talent since she started her career. I don't think she's ever been in a film or tv show that was watched by a majority black audience. That's the difference to me.
KC Undercover was her “black” show
