40 is a pretty private person, we don't know alot about his personal life. Wouldn't be that much of a stretch to think he fell for the wrong person who might've been using the information given to her to her advantage. Pusha might've paid for the info for all we know.

I don't know but I can bet good money that it wasn't 40. 40 is the most private person, especially when it comes to Drake. That's why Drake doesn't joke with him. If 40 was a pillow talker or someone who couldn't keep his mouth shut about things, the first instance of him spilling Drake's private information would have come a lot sooner than 2018. I still think Kanye spilled and if Drake thinks so too, he had good reason for that.
