Do y'all remember when that person (I forget who it was), posted a letter tagged "From Drake to Kanye" and posted it on their IG Stories for clout and people started running with talks of them being reconciled only for him to have to take it down and say it was old?
Why would you do that when you know both parties aren't on good terms with one another? And even if they're now on good terms, why would you want to be the first one to hint at that? S*** is wack to me.

WESLEY PETTY40 is a pretty private person, we don't know alot about his personal life. Wouldn't be that much of a stretch to think he fell for the wrong person who might've been using the information given to her to her advantage. Pusha might've paid for the info for all we know.
I feel like if Ye was the one who actually told Push, he would've self incriminated himself during one of his manic twitter rants.

40, who has never ever spilled anything about Drake, private or otherwise, casually and conveniently spilled the most sensitive private information about Drake's life at the time to a random chick who now magically gave that information to Pusha T at the exact time he needed something like that. Pusha was actively feeding off the attention back then. Drake addressed the situation ONCE for less than 10 minutes on the Shop and Pusha, after doing 20 interviews talking about Drake, went on Joe Budden to do ANOTHER 3 HOUR interview. There was nothing more to say because it was clear Pusha was going to keep dragging the situation to remain revleant. It's not a mistake that he did more press in 2018 than he's ever done in any year in his life.
Also, Drake was on tour back then and was over the media still bringing up that situation. He had addressed it on Scorpion and again on the Shop. There was no need going over it again and again and again with Pusha. I'm glad no one from OVO said anything.

You think the same people who believed Pusha when he said Drake was a deadbeat simply because Drake hadn't revealed he had a child were going to believe Drake? That's why there was no need continuing with the beef because it stopped being about bars and skill to being about throwing dirt and making up narratives.
Drake lost that battle and people were going to believe anything Pusha said anyways because that's where their head was at.
People will believe what they want to believe at the end of the day. It was always going to be Drake's word against Pusha and people weren't going to believe Drake when Pusha turned out to be correct about him having a child and had won a battle against him, so Drake left it alone, which was the best thing he could have done.
