The finally product that graces the ears is way more important than who did what

Ye may not be technically gifted but he has a direction and level that almost none of his contributors reach in their solo music

Still a good beat not all loops need things added

Finding samples and using them to create a new thing is still a valuable skill even if you don't add a lot

Could also argue that using collaboration to improve the end product is also a valuable skill I think.
