Yeah bro I just want him to be okay. He’s still sleeping. I want him to eat and use the litter box so I’ll he content that he knows he’s safe and has food to eat

Fam shawty got out the cage meowed and hid. I went downstairs to get his toys, food, Litter, and scratch post and came up to see the boy missing. I dead ass called my mom crying saying I can’t find him and then called my homie on FT And he helped me locate him underneath the bed. He’s been sleeping there for 3 hrs straight. I have a low bed and I wonder if me laying on it is causing stress to the cat underneath.
I have kept his food in the kitchen and litter box set up in the bathroom which is adjacent from the bedroom and open door to walk in. Is he finna wake up eventually and go looking for food and litter box? How long will he hide for

yea hes prob scared, i remember when i was a kid and we brought my cat home for the first time it hid for a little while, make sure youre not purposly making loud noises like stomping or throwing things, it will make them more scared and on edge, when you want to hang with it be sure to sit on the floor with them it will ease them, also dont be making sudden movements
