That's dope! I found him randomly too by just joining a random raid group

My second shiny along with Gyrados (s/o the shiny Magikarp event). They're strong af too stats wise, super good for online

Glad arcanine is actually viable some what in this gen. I think not including national dex was a good idea. 95 speed is actually solid now run him jolly with max speed evs and he eats

Same, I understand the dex cut at least for online competitive, especially with Gmax & Dmaxing, s*** like Salamence would be SO overkill with these new mechanics lmao. Do wish we could have a lot of them just for single player use tho & then just blacklist them for online, but I get it.

Arcanine seems to be very meta rn too. Crazy how he came back so strong due to all the balancing. He finally gets to shine again since like gen 5 with the broken weather mechanics

Honestly I’d wait till hidden ability comes out for starters if you plan on using it competitively

Doubles competitive is so fun & challenging. Never tried it comptitively before, but its my main format in Shield now.

So much strategy & a lot of options in Pokemon to choose from. Also makes gmax waaay more manageable & interesting.

Game is so much less a match of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" in doubles too

Yeah singles has been boring since gen 6 for me. Especially 3v3 battle spot

    Forreal. I prefer 6 v 6 for singles too.

But I think I prefer 4 v 4 in doubles & don't mind how it isn't a full 6. Making it too where you can't use your whole arsenal helps setting up pair strategies more & makes the matches a bit more of a surprise & mind game.

Oh facts. Singles is only fun when there’s a team of full 6 not just 3.
Doubles adds much more layers to strategy and I’m still trying to learn it and develop solid team comps but it’s still much more fun than vgc singles

Same. I think I finally got my first team for it down, been tinkering with it for the last 2 or 3 days switching up a few mons & movesets. Now my first official team is Hippowdon, Centiscorch, Corviknight, Gyrados, Toxicroak & Appletun. My MVPs so far have been Hippowdon & Appletun.

My next Doubles team imma build I think it might be more speed focus. Thinking bout Arcanine, Noivern, Milotic, Togekiss, Lucario & one of the Rotoms. Got half of the team prepared already 🔥

For a while I was running a toxapex and dragapult combo and it was pretty nasty just poison them and stab hex with dragapult who also almost outspends basically everything outside zacian. S*** disgusting

Been setting up a lot of physical defense + stall with Appletun while Gyarados provides cover for it. Also like using Corviknight & let it build its stats with Bulk Up, while Hippowdon does chip damage with sandstorm & it's also running Roar in case someone wanna get crazy.

S*** is tough. Made a dude ragequit with my Appletun before too 😂
