I want proper 3D remakes for every Pokemon game Gens 1-4 though not just Lets Go type stuff (but maybe in the same art style)

Every time I hype myself into buying this I watch a video on YouTube and I’m just reminded how stagnant the series is tbh.

I mean yea but this is one of those series where the formula is so iconic that trying to make any major changes would be suicide. Which is exactly why the Pokemon games that ARE different are the spin-offs like Mystery Dungeon and Pokken.

Plus it’s entire charm is it’s simplicity. May be easy and formulaic but it’s one of those games like Animal Crossing where it’s jus a very relaxing, non-stressful game to coast thru. Although you can easily make it the complete opposite by getting into competitive play.

Ehh maybe, but they’re just playing it safe. Making tweaks here and there over the years to make the game serviceable. Competitive play is more or less still the same battle wise. From videos I’ve seen it’s usually a speed blitz, “super effective” 1 shot KO constantly.

Couple that with these extremely disappointing graphics 🥴. I’m not at all a person who focuses on graphics but even the Battle Revolution has better graphics and animations than this. Beating a dead horse at this stage, but idk just can’t bring myself to support this financially.

Adding on some more... the actual game lore itself is severely lacking too. I ain’t even gonna lie I ain’t even notice it until it was pointed out to me... but it’s kinda crazy how every single NPC only ever talks about Pokémon I feel like if you honestly say if played Pokémon Yellow when it came out, and 20 years later this is where Pokémon is at, they’ve severely under preformed imo

but you can transfer Mewtwo from Let's Go still

i just learned how to transfer "legal" Pokemon from my ROM saves to my 3DS and then onto Home

It's not aging bad. Gen V was meant to be a soft reboot. That's why BW1 You only encountered Gen V Pokemon pre-elite Four. They locked gens 1-4 behind the post game. It was meant to be an anniversary to Gen 1.

ORAS is a great remake though

a lot of the old games involved a lot of grinding, which turns off a lot of the current players.

oras was fun, but a little too easy.

the gameplay for pokemon changed very much with the newer gens

S***ty thing is, obviously you can’t clear all the raid dens since you can’t beat that one.... so they won’t reset and get new ones until they auto reset after 12 hours or whatever

So you gotta use Wishing Pieces until then...... super lame
