This all goes back to TPCi. The guy that's president of TPCi didn't believe Pokemon would last as long. He also doesn't really care about it. Pokemon is just a product to him. GF doesn't even want to make Pokemkn anymore, but there other games kinda suck.

Yo has anyone mentioned that the reason they didn’t include all the Pokémon in Sword & Shield is cause of Pokémon Home?
If they included the whole dex in S&S then people wouldn’t have to pay for Home. They’d just transfer all the Pokémon from home into S&S to get out of paying the $15 a year 🤔
But since can’t transfer all of them where forced to pay for storage so they don get deleted

You can have every Pokémon in Home. I transferred all 150 from LGP into it on release month.
And I’ve been transferring Pokémon in from PGO, like the johto starters can’t be in S&S but I have them in Home.

Once I'm done with my exams gonna start the manga, hope there are that charm and maturity that the anime will never have.
