I think people hated Let’s Go cause it wasn’t a real remake it was just catching s***. But the art style of it to see Kanto like that was dope as f***. And I think that’s what people wanted to see with D&P. GF set that expectation for Pokémon remakes on the Switch but delivered what we saw today....

Heard some people say gamefreak could develop 2 series at the same time, with the mainline gen pokemon games being made just for the competitive scene and to introduce new pokemon for merch and tcg, while legends is gonna be the series they put more effort into. It does make sense, since they clearly stated they want this concept to keep going
