I have a feeling they'll delay legends, they seem to listen to fan perception and the perception of the game looking around is "great idea, needs a lot more polishing". Im also aware they released sw/sh with those ocarina of time n64 lookin ass trees so i may just be mindlessly speculating

so glad for DP remakes but the chibi style throwing me off, it'll probably grow on me. Wish they went with lets go art style imo that's the best looking pkmn game yet

Dope how theyre taking something that already exists but expanding on it. I always thought it would be cool to see Johto before Lugia settled in the islands & the whole burned tower situation with Ho-oh & the three beasts, so now i get that but with Sinnoh instead.

Most pokemon games you can get 30 to 40ish+ hours out of, even more if you do battle facilities and/or online.

But obv Legends is something different, so no one knows. Especially since there is only one trailer lol.

Its crazy that it seems that Cyndaquil, Oshawott & Rowlitt are the starters.

That's wild how theyre switching up the starter formula even if ever so slightly.

Surprised they didnt just start everyone off with a Riolu or sumn. Maybe they are open to changing starter traditions even more as time goes on.

They're gonna do a legends ho oh/lugia in the future for sure, they want this to be a long running series

Imagine if they do a Mew one where you are part of the crew researching it to create Mewtwo or sumn.

Or youre part of the ancient dragon tribe people that deal with Kyogre & Groudon original war & have to get Rayquaza.

I like this better than a simple remake idea but im glad they are still able to do both.

I wonder how they will switch up the game's motivation to go outside of collecting badges.

Really feels like a proper entry of the Coliseum & XD era.

I want one for mew, deoxys, ho-oh, one that focuses on that pokemon war mentioned in pokemon x and y (this last one especially has incredible potential if they ever make one about this)

Not sure, but it seems to be truly open world this time around so i wouldnt be surprised if there is a pokemon ride feature similar to Let's Go's, even if its a bit more specifc like ORAS remakes.

Its only the first trailer rn & it comes out in early next year atm, so they'll def have more info as the year goes on.

That would be really dope tho, i hope so.

Battle frontier is honestly make or break for these remakes.

X Y Legends gameplay mix the new live action field system with Dynasty Warriors-like combat with your chosen pokemon(s) for the big brawls in the war

Gotta strike up a deal with Team Ninja to make Pokemon Warriors X Y like how they been doing for Zelda & Persona

So many possibilities & hopefully they continue doing more with Legends.

And gen 9 gon be fire!

graphics/art direction on the D/P remakes are ass
legends looks dope but the framerate lookin yikes & the open-world seems mad sparse & desolate.

hope they take their time & polish up legends tho, it has the most potential outta the last few pokemon games imo.

Was expecting more from the remakes but I love Gen 4 so much I’ll still probably cop. Really hope there are some new gameplay/story elements (and distortion world post game), if it’s just a 1:1 of the OGs with a reskin....yikes

They barely showed any of the open world too, its just the front of the village.

But if anyone is expecting skyrim but pokemon then LOL

Also, Pokemon Snap still looks gorgeous & the lively animations are crazy, almost like some Monster Hunter s***.
