this will be my first time playing gen 4, i stopped playing after gen 3, came back for gen 8

pretty excited for it because i’ve always heard people talk about how great it is

They show in the Diamon and Pearl trailer that the union room is coming back. It's a 1 to 1 remake of Diamond and Pearl.

All they did was took Gen 4 and put it in real 3D vs the 2.5D it originally it was.

Gen 4 is peak Pokemon Cyrus a GOAT villain

Pokemon legends looks like itd be really great if they updated the graphics from 2004 and ran at anything above 10 fps

Nah lol. They HAVE to put a battle frontier in here. This game isn't a copy paste of sword and shield which gives me hope that we're getting the battle resort area in full lol

Say what you will about what they gave us today, in some ways it does (sort of) seem like they’re listening. People wanted a full open world experience, it looks like they’re testing the waters with Legends. People wanted DP remakes to be more authentic, they went overboard with the chibi s*** but they did it

Legends looks sick, looks like it's making something along the lines of Gale of Darkness but in a more accessible fashion

Im not a fan of the way sword and shield looks at all. But the dp remake art is growing on me for sure

i think it's more a misuse of the art style for sword/shield. i don't really mess with how it looks in a lot of the towns, but for bigger areas i think it looks good

the Legends game seems to make a really good use out of a similar style
