ive wanted an ATB pokemon for years, it adds a little more pressure and skill since it takes the chess gameplay away for a more ARPG approach which is what Legends series will be, a new core series in ARPG open world format
better be able to to use Pokemon Home for D/P remakes or else SnS is officially useless
yeah but i think if u dont pause the game or choose your attack, the enemy keeps attacking over and over even if u dont
Nah it's still turn base lol. They just sit idle lol. The Japanese version of the trailer has a longer version that show it's still turn base lol
need more info about the remakes. Like are they going back to mega evolutions and making new megas for the starters and sinnoh pokes and bringing back mega stones for previous megas?
how would transfering pokemon to swsh and vice versa work or will it work at all?
better have battle frontier
Mega evolution Pokemon are apart of the DPP remake merchandise run. That's probably a good indicator that yes Megas are back. DPP seem to be using Lets go as it's base.
As for the transfer thing, it'll probably work like ORAS to XY did.
I wonder if these remakes will take over as the official game for tournament play like HGSS and ORAS did
its called ATB
Active Time Battle
if u dont attack with ur Pokemon the opponent will keep attacking until u die or pause it
its still turn based in that neither Pokemon can move until their timer ends
Nah it's not ATB. It's traditional turn base, like it's not a ATB bar, stamina bar, or anything. In the longer version of the trailer the camera spins around as you choose an attack like it does in SWSH. It is a lot of battle screen shots on the website now lol.
They deliberately left this out of trailers lol
I'm going update the OP later after class.
Why does the garchomp not have a level?
It's apart of that weird hybrid system they have now and it's going to be boss battles in the game.

Prop will regardless of if it has a nat dex or not cause even though this top down chibi style is ass. Many people hate swsh

gallade has a level though

Yeah and the garchomp seems like a boss from video because gallade doesn't one shot it. Only does close to half using slash.
im a beast and i have input lag, touch controls and a slow phone, imagine what my Switch stats are gonna be like 🥵🥵🥵 Canada beta test is over March 15th
Finally playing through shield, I actually like the game a lot, but i have two weird complaints
1. Why TF is hop, Leon and sonia with you every step of the way, it’s hella annoying. In the older games it made sense to run into your rival here and there, but hop is literally with you at every turn. And why is the champion always showing up, it’s just a weird story choice
2. Why do they heal you so much, it’s like every new area some random person heals you , I liked the older challenge of having to be prepared , this game does a lot of hand holding
Other than that I like it tho, those two small things bother me lol

Leon showing up everywhere and saving the day while telling you to beat it is kind of annoying. Theres a group of dynamax Pokémon attacking a city and you get shooed away. I understand it’s to build Leon up but we got the idea already. His name is literally “unbeatable champion”.
I don't know if I can tolerate the waddle in the sinnoh remakes.
But I miss my infernape dog. If they let me get one in sw/sh I'm skipping this easily.
Much more excited for Legends

The one thing they nailed is random encounters though. That is the biggest problem I had. Being able to choose when to encounter is the best improvement they've made ever.
And if pokemon legends does really well I think the franchise is finally turning a corner in the right direction

it’d be weird if it does imo at least to me
the game looks nothing like the direction the series has been going in for the past 8 years
it’d be weird to make it the main game when it’s meant to look like a 15 year old game

If the EV /IV training is simple like SwSh it will definitely be the main tournament game.
Plus there’s a lot of people that ended up not liking gen 8 games

The battles are up to date and modern 3D though. So it's definitely possible.
