May 15, 2021·4 repliesI did a Black 2 randomized nuzlocke and beat it in 4 attempts. Reminded me how fun of a game gen 5 is. Some of the cities are designed weird but other than that it's a nearly flawless game.
I am on my 3rd attempt of a Platinum randomized nuzlocke after my 2nd attempt literally lost at Champion Cynthia (unlucky).
But what I want to come here and say is I don't undertsnad the hype about gen 4. Replaying these games has made me realize how much of it I hate. The Ghiratina puzzle makes me want to never play a videogame ever again and every single fcking gym is some dumb stupid fcking puzzle. Fck puzzles man!!!!
After replaying Platinum I stand by that Gen 4 is the 2nd worst gen and might even be worse than Gen 8. Why do people often put D/P/P as their favorite? I guess if they enjoy puzzles I could see why but otherwise I don't get it.

Sheer Cold is the reason my 2nd Plat rando nuzlocke attempt died and now it just killed my Rotom in my 3rd attempt :(

gen 4 kinda ended the classic streak tbh. those games are fun but nowhere near the ones that came before (or some that came after)

Most of what your complaints about Gen 4 is what people miss. Puzzles that didn't hold your hand and challenging battles. It's no way you got lost in the giratina area as it's pretty straightforward and the pixies show you which way to go. You just wasn't paying attention bro. It's no way Gen 4 is worst than bland and boring Gen 8

Y'all ain't real until y'all nuzlocke the fan made versions. Renegade Platinum make Platinum looks like child play. Blaze Black and Volt White is infinitely more harder than the original lol
