Rockstar games don't have mid developers lol. That's also the thing, Rockstar isn't putting out mid and people still buying it. Rockstar also isn't a Japanese studio stuck in the past or got the wrong impression on what kids like.

I just hope Gamefreak can take a page out of rockstars book and actually put in some more work

I mean I’ll preorder day one but we all saw and are seeing current Gen consoles and the issues with supply there. The switch already had its share of supply issues and now is going to be even worse in this regard considering it’s a brand new console.

For the first time in months I looked online and saw one at retail price and copped it. Prior to that it literally had been a year where I didn’t see them b****es at all in any store

yeah exactly. Covid increased demand because we all needed tech and it also f***ed the supply lines, so really awful situation overall. Vaccines are working and finally in terms of worldwide new cases we’re trending down so I think we’ll be on a good path back to recovery soon.

Actually things looking better are probably why switch pro is going into production soon and Pokémon dates got announced

We don't even know if they'll take advantage of the switch pro. Sun and moon didn't take advantage of the N3DS and was still struggling with framerates. It doesn't matter how strong the console if the devs are incompetent.

Also nothing promising was in that trailer. No way anyone can be excited of a empty world with Pokemon. We didn't see a single NPC or even know wtf we going be doing. It could all be fetch quest which can become super tideous and boring. The Pokemon still have no turning animation in the over world.

I'm keeping my expectations low and I advise you do the same.

Sun and Moon ran like s*** on the N3DS something that was a major upgrade over the original 3DS. They do the bare minimum. We probably still get hopips going 2 FPS across the screen lol
