Been playing FireRed Rom hack Radical Red. While I like the game, I believe it's a unfair game. It's a difference between difficult and insanely unfair and grindy mechanics.
Genger, Pikachu, Machoke at the top of my list to buy
Coins so slow to get tho
Nfs all pokeballs should have the same catch rate and should be an aesthetic choice only
Or we should at least be able to change pokeballs after catching something
I’ll be damned if I catch Pokémon in those ugly ass great and ultra balls
I’ll toss 50 pokeballs no problem
Man as someone who actively hates themselves due to the amount of League of Legends I play, I was looking forward to Unite. After finding out about the P2W aspects though I can't even be assed to try it out.

same pay 2 win as Runes were in League
more like pay 2 progress
and progress CAN help with wins
i havent paid s*** and have 6 items all maxxed out and once u get Flash or w.e you are then equal to everyone else
dont play ranked til u have that
and ull still win tons of casuals
my score average is over 120 and my win rate is 60% which are both higher than my IRL friend who paid for progress

I just have no interest in playing a game with that in it at all. At least when League was like that it didn't cap your earnings per day and runes were still only purchasable with IP, not RP. Regardless that was over 8 years ago now so it seems like a moot point.

you can buy everything with in game currency
and capping your earnings has no effect on leveling items up
just dont play ranked til you are ready just like how League was
also it wasn't over 8 years ago it was less than 3 lmao
more like for 8 years straight League, the most successful MOBA on the planet used P2Progress methods to keep new players in a constant grind before playing in a ranked competitive format

Cap is per week of 2100 coins, which is like 50 matches or something I think
What's the time rate on unlocking a character in League or hots out of curiosity

someone needs to tell romhackers that broken mechanics or dogshit level cuves =/= difficulty

Yeah, I just stop playing. Like I was stuck on Erika and it was beginning to become like no matter how much I grind I would need luck to beat her. Like grass surge Rillaboom then he U-Turns into a tanky Meganium that has coverage for every grass weakness and resistance. I was like wtf. Meganium with HP fire!?!? Smh then you get pass that Serperior is faster than any Pokemon available to you and just boost with leaf storm.
It just wasn't fun. Luck, CPUs that predict your moves, and broken mechanics doesn't mean difficult.

Probably 1-3 a week, depending on the character's cost and how many games you play. The rate kind of slows down though as you level up further because you can start with the cheaper ones which are super easy to acquire, and the game tosses like 10-20 free characters at new players now. There's no cap either which is super nice.
Unite gives you 3 free strong ass Pokemon if you log in once per day for 14 days, Ninetales, Cinderace, Greninja
plus you start with some
then you can buy others
and Crustle is a daily/weekly challenge award
never played the 7th gen games but i ordered moon version today so i’m excited to play em. i need to get the rest of the 3ds pokemon titles before hey inevitably go up in price like all the other ones
If it wasn't for the pay-for-win aspect, this s*** could be the best Pokémon game in YEARS.

it's pay to progress
once you play at least 50 casual games you're evened out
was the same with league of legends and buying maxed out rune pages on a brand new account

Pokemon merchandise is headed for crash in prices. It's already starting with the cards. People currently are stuck with tons of cards they tried to scalp. Rare and vintage cards are falling too. Pretty sure games are next. I saw a Pokemon gold that was refurbished with a perfect sticker going for $41. That same cart was $80 a month ago. The nostalgia boom is over.

I’m still confused why it’s P2W.
Haven’t played but from my understanding it’s just pay to progress faster. Win would imply you have to buy s*** in order to be better. I could be wrong though

Thank god
I was just out of curiosity looking at game carts and broooo. Like Explorers of Sky literally was going for like $80. S*** is insanity dude

What's crazy is I bought Exploers of sky 3 years ago for like $50 lmao. The crash is happening. Pokemon card collectors are in a panic right now. Nobody is buying graded cards and a bunch of scalpers are stuck with cards that's losing value quickly.
It was bound to happen. I have no clue why people let YouTube personalities and celebs inflate the market like this.
Nice! Wasn’t expecting this game to get more content so it’s a neat treat for those of you who have it.

Lol yeah I mean eventually the prices gonna lower like you said. That’s when imma scoop up a bunch of s*** once the nostalgia wears off.
Plus then I’ll probably actually have the money to buy the s*** too.
