I don't want to be that guy, but I don't see how people find this game difficult. A little challenging because of the rolling mechanic but difficult? Naw. My first playthrough I accidentally overleveled thinking the boss Pokemon would scale with me. Kleavor was still level 18 and my level 31 Floatzel made it a joke. Then because I would capture as many Pokemon I could during each mission, by the time I got to Lilligant I was one shotting it. I was super overleveled with 7 stars going into my third boss battle. The alpha Pokemon wasn't even hard anymore. Once you can craft great and ultra balls the game is a cake walk like every Pokemon game.
I mean when I’m battling my levels usually around whatever the other guys is
So when I get hit it’ll take like half my health away. It’s not like I’m blacking out but the way the last few games are this is def more difficulty to it
I’m just finding myself reviving Pokémon more often

I think that's only because it's something to get use too. It plays more on match ups and effort values than just throwing out a random Pokemon. Once you learn the new stat system the game is like a notch harder than Sword and Shield tbh. This is their way of artificially producing a difficulty because even my level 26 Quilava was taking hard damage from a level 2 shinx until I started boosting it's EV stat.
Those numbers in the circle next to stats are basically the new EV system. The better that number is the stronger the Pokemon and it won't take that much damage either. You can go to the training dojo and trade grit dust or grit pebbles for grit effort value boosting items if you don't want to start over with a new Pokemon. Like even my level 20 Psyduck was hitting Klevor hard after finding out about that.

thank you lol see I have barely a clue on what I’m doing in this game
Yeah because BOY is Legends Arceus rough around the edges. I don't even need Sneaseler to climb. You can literally glitch walk/roll up mountains and steep hills.
Could use some polish for sure. But this is the first time in a while I'm actually feeling the positives heavily outweigh the negatives. (I'm a Sun & Moon stan lol.) Objectively I think Legends is the best game in generations.
I'm worried about the growing complaints about the lack of voice acting being the new "we need BOTW Pokemon" not cause I disagree but like I said, Game Freak dont got it like that lol. I want them to focus on refining the already late progress they've made with Legends.
How you feeling about the Unova remakes, how you think they'll go about that in relation to gen 9?
Are they gonna add more Pokémon in later?
i could see like 1 or 2 dlc areas maybe
w new dudes
maybe a machanical change or a new ride guy like one that actually goes up and flies in mountain area
would be sick to have a modern day area through the warps in like city streets

I find it semi hard because you can be 20 levels higher than the enemy and a non-super effective move will still take half your health. It’s like the enemy just does insane amounts of damage at all times.
this game f***ing rules. There are a lot of things I would want improved for the next game, but I'm having a lot of fun just running around and completing the Pokedex

well yeah that goes for any RPG. if you over level the difficulty gets thrown out the window. Even in Dark Souls you can grind up to the point where you just one shot everything

It's no doubt this game is the best game in years. I had fun with it.

Nah, my point was I thought the game would scale with you. They initially claimed that the game would scale as you go. Instead their idea of scaling is just adding super high leveled alpha Pokemon in certain areas, but they didn't buff the bosses. You can accidentally over level yourself by just playing the game. I didn't go out my way to overlevel. The game doesn't take into account they're very generous on EXP and on survey Corp points. Like just capturing 20 Pokemon and one alpha Pokemon can get you 4200 survey points.

My thought process was "They're putting all these high leveled Pokemon around Klevor's dungeon area. Klevor is going to be at least 30+" like right before Klevor there is a level 42 Alpha Scyther right by his entrance to the far right and then there's a alpha Lopunny that's level 44 near by too. The pokemon in the area are also like 16-23. I was already at level 16 with Cyndaquil so I was like let me capture some Pokemon and do more side missions.
That's probably my only issue that they didn't learn how to do proper level scaling still even after SWSH DLC debacle.
Mad to me how quick this game loads up compared to the Pearl & Diamond games that just released

IMO the bosses are secondary to the experience, the game is about catching mons and the pokedex and that involves switching dudes a lot
I don’t get how people over level so quickly. Maybe I’m rushing it but my Pokémon are similar levels to wild ones. Whenever I reach a new area I have to grind to level up my rank. Game difficulty is fine for a game without a difficulty feature.

I mean, yeah, but you can see they put a lot of work into the story and how the game progresses based around the story. You can't just outright say the story was an after thought. They probably just didn't figure out level scaling. That's something I liked about the game as well Jubalife Villagr shows progression as you move through the main plot.
Is it me or are wild pokemon consistently stronger than yours
You have to power up your Pokemon EV values or catch Pokemon with the best ev values. Nature's and abilities were removed so you have to catch multiple Pokemon and look at the circle with the number next to stats. For example, if you catch two Starly, one Starly may have a 1 next to it's Attack stat, while the other may have a 2 or a 3 next to multiple stats. You can also buff Pokemon using grift dust that you trade to the training dojo.

Because you're probably not fighting the right Pokemon. Like, For Example, if you go to the forest by where Klevor is there are Dustox and Beautifly that you can catch that give 200+ EXP. Scyther gives 150+ EXP. You don't even have to battle them. Just load up on pokeballs and just Chuck balls at them and get easy EXP or you can just battle them. You also get EXP from collecting items. You gather from a tree EXP, break rocks EXP, pick up wood EXP.
