Bruh what I think makes it worse is that they do it without even using an agile style move, I feel cheated when a Pokémon uses something like nasty plot or swords dance and attacks right after comp would be in shambles

BRO this just happened to me. Alpha Machoke used bulk up and then hit me with double edge back to back. Smh in this game Double edge is literally a OHKO attack.

The last and only time I gave enough of a s*** about battling to put all those hours into breeding/training was when I was like 10 and OG D/P came out so fair enough im definitely not down to invest that kinda time anymore so I’ll take a more casual system like this any day

damn I tried to finesse the shiny ponyta they give you for a good nature but it looks like shinys/pokemon are nature locked once they spawn in the overworld

That would actually be a dope mechanic. Just using tackle from wydeer in the overworld and hit a Pokémon and make them dizzy so you can hop off and capture them
