The leaks says that some the new pokemon forms will count as "new pokemon" because they have different pokedex number
And it wouldnt surprise me that after 3 generations with less new additions, that now they do a big one like gen five

They said you can challenge the gyms in any order but the leaders levels and party don’t change?
Tf is the point if they don’t scale approximately lirl. Still only makes sense to go in one specific order

nobody actually knows what the gimmick does. It's too many mistranslations.

Yep, it's no level scaling. So you can wind up facing what should be the second gym as the last gym and the Pokemon will be level 20 while your team might be in the late 40s.

No breeding is removed. You don't use two Pokemon to get an egg now. The breeding mechanic is gone. So no it's not "unchanged"

Probably not accurate but I'm going off memory. Either they never pushing that many or the ones they get are really that unremarkableGen 7 and 8 had 85-90 new mons respectively. I think they can stretch it to 100 but 130-150 seems crazy.
