We probably finally get AZ's Floette. It's one of the few one off Pokemon they still haven't scrubbed from Pokemon Home data. It was odd that they kept that Pokemon's data around even though it went unreleased.

According to rumours, Nintendo’s planning a general Direct for April, and a Switch 2 reveal in June, so I doubt there’s anything else to look forward to in the summer.

If classic PKMN games were coming to NSO then the annual February Pokémon Presents would’ve been the one place to announce it.
In other words, it’s over.

First game really captured some of the lost magic in the series IMO so if they can do it again on a bigger scale with the needed improvements it could be a classic

Mega evolutions were the only good generational gimmick. Put them in gen 10 too.

What does Z-A mean

Pokemon does its own thing. It doesn't really rely on Nintendo's release schedule. It doesn't matter if another console is coming. See when Gen V released with the 3DS coming out and USUM releasing with the switch being announced(we found out that Pokemon stars was actually real. Sun and Moon was going to be released on switch.)

With the 3DS online going offline they're going to need to link Gen 1-3 to the newer games.
